September 25, 2008 Open Gym: Tuesday Sept. 30th 8-11pm, Sunday Oct. 5th 12-3pm, Tuesday Oct.7th 8-11pm, and Sunday Oct. 12, 12-3pm. Try-outs: Tuesday Oct. 14th 8-11pm and Sunday Oct. 19th 12-3pm. All open gym, tryouts and practices will be held at Main Gym in Muir College unless otherwise noted.
UCSD Women's Volleyball Ranks 5th in Nation
Wednesday, April 16, 2008 The Triton Women's Volleyball club team competed in Nationals this past weekend. We went into the tournament ranked 12. The first day was rough and we won only one game out of three. Somehow we were still ranked second and had a chance to compete for the gold. Day two, we went undefeated beating University of Minnesota and fourth ranked Santa Clara. After that we went into the final day guaranteed at least 9th. We beat Purdue in an awkward one game match. Then we waited for over 5 hours before our next game against fifth ranked Ohio State. It was a heartbreaking loss 23-25 and 24- 26.
