Team Overview
The Women's ultimate frisbee at UC San Diego can be characterized by one word "Psycho." Although our team name may seem a bit crazy, we are a group of enerjectic and competive athletes who love the game of firsbee. Each each year we travel around the country competing at a wide variety tournaments including Sean Ryan at UC Santa Cruz, Stanford Invite at Stanford University, and Centex at University of Texas, Austin. We also host at least 2 tournaments right here at UC San Diego every year! All of our tournaments helps us prepare for the College Ultimate series which includes Sectionals, Regionals, and Nationals. The locations change every year and in the Spring of 2007 we made the big trip out to Columbus, Ohio for Nationals placing 9th out of 16 teams. Our goal every season is to make it to Nationals to play against the best teams in the country. This year we are looking to get as many people as possible interested in the game we loveand enjoy. Interested? Come to a practice and check us out!
