The UCSD Men's club team beat SDSU B 3-1 on Thursday night. After opening the season with three consecutive losses the UCSD has now won two games in a row. UCSD fell behind early when SDSU capitalized on a defensive mistake to take the lead. However UCSD fought back and eventually got the tying goal before halftime from Phil Tan. After halftime UCSD continued to hold the majority of possession and it eventually paid off when they won a free kick outside the box. Jason Anthony took the free kick and put it in the back of the net to give UCSD a 2-1 advantage. With 10 minutes remaining Sam Wu made it 3-1 on a left footed shot inside the area from an assist by Casey Ustick and Phil Tan.
