Women's Lacrosse Finishes Season Off Against SDSU
Thursday, April 16, 2009 UCSD took on crosstown rival last Wednesday with disappointing results. With starting goalie Cristina Dukovich still out with a head injury, new goalie Christain Chopin did her very best against SDSU's attackers. UCSD started out strong with lots of ball control, but had difficulty stopping the many shots SDSU took on the inexperienced goal keeper. The game ended with a score of 3-18, keeping UCSD from going to league playoffs. UCSD Women's Lacrosse is looking forward to a competitive season next year, and plans to field an A and B team again. We invite all lacrosse players (and those who want to try it out for the first time) to get in touch regarding the 09-10 season.More Headlines: Apr 8 - Women's Lacrosse Has a Tough Weekend Due to Key Injuries Mar 2 - Women's Lacrosse Wins First League Victory Feb 18 - Women's Lacrosse Has A Tough Weekend at Santa Barbara Shootout There are no more headlines. ![]() |
