Triton Dancesport Competes in Stanford’s Cardinal Classic Ballroom
Competition
Wednesday, April 30, 2008 This past weekend, the UCSD Dancesport Team traveled to Stanford to compete in Stanford University's Cardinal Classic Ballroom Competition. Our team again sent several couples to compete many of whom placed very well. All three of our formation teams also competed in the Formation team event. Our “I'm Too Sexy Medley” performed by our Competitive team took first place in this event followed by our Show and Medley formations who took 2nd and 4th place respectively. Our team had a wonderful time competing and dancing all weekend long. The UCSD Dancesport Team had a great time in Northern California this weekend and looks forward to next year's Cardinal Classic.The Stanford Cardinal Classic rounds out our main competitive season, however, we are looking forward to presenting our showcase on June 1, 2008 in the Price Center Ballroom as well as local shows in the San Diego area.
