IM SPORTS OFFICIATING OPPORTUNITIES

The next opportunity to connect with our program as an IM Sports Official applicant is Fall Quarter, 2009. We will be recruiting flag football, volleyball, indoor soccer, and dodgeball referees during the first week of the quarter.

Our sports officials jobs are excellent entry level positions that pay $10.34 an hour. We provide you with a pre-season training clinic that covers sports rules, officiating mechanics, and game operation procedures. If you are interested, please check with us during the time period listed above. IM referee/umpire jobs are limited and fill quickly (sometimes within the first few days of the quarter), so don't put it off.

Your first task in getting involved with our program as a sports official, referee, or umpire is to fill-out a brief job application form at the IM Sports Front Desk at RIMAC (upstairs, 4th Floor, UCSD Recreation). Our student staff will assist you, ask a few additional questions, and then provide updates about where we are in the process. Those most qualified will be asked to attend our pre-season training clinics and hiring meetings and with perfect attendance in both, many of you should be working within the week.
