MEN'S SOFTBALL DIGS IN FOR THE STRETCH RUN. Fresh New Team Rankings Finds Illa Fresh On Top.

We're down to counting fingers on one hand as we assess the remaining days left in the Men's Softball regular season. The calendar sez we've got four days left, and my right hand tells me that I've got four fingers and my best umpire thumb still conveniently attached.

It should be an interesting four days, given that three of our five Men's softball league races are still influx.

Only Illa Fresh Smooth Sauce (4-0) in Men's AA-Candlestick and Sammy (4-0) in Men's A-Forbes can rest assured knowing that they are 2008 league champions whether they win their last game or not.

With Pike (4-1) winning a doubleheader in Thursday's Coliseum League, they also move into the expanding league champion group leaving next week's final set of games from the Forbes, Briggs, and J Murph Leagues to effectively sort out the field for the upcoming post-season playoffs in Men's AA Softball and Men's A Softball.
