IM FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS READY TO ROLL THIS WEEKEND! Championship Pairings/Brackets Are Out And Can Be Found On This Site.

It's one of the best times of the year around here.

Beginning this Friday afternoon and continuing through Monday evening, The 2009 IM Football Championships begin a four-day, opening weekend run that will culminate two weeks hence with championship games in five different divisions of play.

This season's playoff brackets are now available on this site by clicking to Divisional homepages for Men's AAA, Men's AA, Men's A, and Coed A Football. For teams qualifying in Men's AA and Men's A Championship play, be sure to look closely for your team in either of two different brackets of play (Prime and/or Lower).

Many of the regular season's top rated league champions earned high seeded slots in this year's brackets as one might expect.

In Men's AAA, it was Juggernauts, Sigma Chi, and Pike settling into comfortable positions in the bracket. In Men's AA Prime, the top spots went to Remember The Tritons, Green Bowl Packers, and Take Two and Pass.

In our largest division of play, Men's A, high scoring Earl's Entourage, BDT, and Prolaze Spheroid, were positioned in premier slots in the Prime bracket.

In Coed Football this season, The Cool Kids and Crabcakes have been front runners all year long, and look well positioned to make it to this year's championship game on Nov. 21.

Could any of these teams stumble on their run to the championship? You bet. In fact, some or even many of them will fall off along the way. It's why we play this thing in the first place. Some of our best teams have been hiding in the bushes for just such a moment. And when it's time to pounce, believe us, they will.

For those teams that made it this season, Good Luck! We'll be there at the end to shake your hand, pat you on the back, take your picture, and make you feel like a million bucks. But, there will be no paychecks at the end of the line this year. Uuuh, you know we still live in California, right?

The 2009 Coed Team Tennis Championship schedule has been established and can be found on the Team Tennis homepage.

Championship matches begin this Monday (Nov 9), Tuesday (Nov 10), and Wednesday (Nov 11), all at 7pm. Qualifying teams should check out the championship schedule on this site and ready their teams for some outstanding, high level competition in the coming week.
